Robert Berger, owner of Berger/Conser Architectural Photography, has been photographing architecture and interior design in the U.S. and abroad for over nineteen years. He has vast experience shooting interiors and exteriors of hospitality, gaming, corporate, residential, and medical projects, as well as historic properties. Many of his photographs have been published in architecture, design and consumer books and magazines. His photographic study of historic theaters Last Remaining Seats (done in conjunction with his former partner, Anne Conser) was published in 1997 by Balcony Press. His most recent project is Sacred Spaces: Historic Houses of Worship in the City of Angels, a photographic study of historic religious buildings in the Los Angeles area built between 1850 and 1952. This recent study, with the support of a fine arts grant from the Graham Foundation in Chicago, was published in 2003. An exhibition of photos from this series was held at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. In addition, he has traveled and photographed in many corners of the globe as can be seen here.
